Access Bank Botswana Strengthens Leadership Team with New Appointments

Access Bank Botswana is proud to announce the
appointment of two members of the Executive Management team and a senior
manager in Strategy, reflecting the Bank’s continued commitment to delivering “more
than just banking” services. These strategic appointments underscore its dedication
to excellence through a highly skilled workforce and a holistic focus on People,
Profit, and Planet.
Duduetsang Chappelle-Molloy joins as the Head of Department; Marketing, Brand
and Communications, bringing over 21 years of experience in marketing and
corporate communications, including 15 years in banking. A recognized expert in
business strategy, brand management, and digital marketing, Chappelle-Molloy is
set to elevate the Bank's reputation and presence. She holds a Master of
International Luxury Marketing from Oxford Brookes University in England, a Master
of Business Leadership from the University of South Africa, and a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Emerson College in the United States
of America. In her new role, she will be pivotal in positioning Access Bank as the
most respected African bank in Botswana and beyond, driving high-performance
teams and impactful marketing strategies.
Also joining the bank is Matshidiso Kereteletswe, who steps into the role of Chief
Information Officer for Information Technology. Kereteletswe brings nearly 30 years
of experience in Information Communications and Technology, Operations, and
Change Management, with over 20 years dedicated to the banking sector. Known for
her expertise in using technology to create cost-effective business solutions,
Kereteletswe has a proven track record in leading successful transformations. She
holds a Master of Business Administration from De Montfort University in the United
Kingdom and a Bachelor of Computer Science from Technical University (TUNS),
Canada. As a member of both the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers
(IEEE) and the Association for Computing Machinery, Kereteletswe’s leadership will
be instrumental in driving innovation and enhancing the customer experience.
Additionally, Carol Phirie has been appointed as the Head of Strategy Phirie is an
experienced management consultant with nearly a decade of expertise in strategy,
human capital, and technology consulting. Her career spans various industries,
including banking, where she has provided advisory services both locally and
regionally. She has worked extensively on designing and implementing strategic initiatives, driving organizational transformation, and leveraging technology to enhance business operations. Carol holds a Master of Science in Strategic Management from the University of Derby in the United Kingdom, a Bachelor of Science
Honours in Informatics from the University of Johannesburg in South Africa, and a
Bachelor of Computer and Information Science from Monash University in South
Africa. She is also a certified Project Management Organizational Change and

Systems Implementation (PROSCI) Change Management Practitioner and a
graduate of the Palladium Institute’s Balanced Scorecard programme. Her expertise
will be vital in aligning the Bank’s organisational goals with market opportunities,
fostering stakeholder engagement, and managing high-impact projects.
Duduetsang, Matshidiso, and Carol’s appointments reflect our dedication to building
